  The property was great, as described and pictured. Proximity to the beach, restaurants, and shops were all within walkable distance to the unit. Underground parking was convenient and accessible. The grounds and amenities are well maintained. Other than a few glitches when checking in, Carlos and Sylvia were helpful and responded promptly. Improvement to note: Since there was no key pad to enter code for entrance gate as stated in the instructions and you needed a garage door opener to gain entrance through the gate, instructions need to be given on how to gain entrance to the property. We look forward to our next visit and would highly recommend this property!

• Beautiful Location with Untapped Potential, But Needs Better Care

  We recently stayed at this condo in Solana Beach, and the location is absolutely perfect for beach access and stunning sunsets. We even had the opportunity to connect with the owner, who is very nice and clearly loves his place. However, it seems like his cleaning staff isn’t doing the property justice.

  During our stay, the master bath shower became unusable due to a clog, which we had to manually remove (a hairball the size of a tennis ball!). The bathmats in all the bathrooms appeared dirty and worn out, adding to an overall dingy feel throughout the condo. It was disappointing that we couldn’t cook in the kitchen because the stainless steel pans had old food caked on them, which was especially frustrating during our two-week stay. Even the coffee pot was corroded, and there was an ongoing ant problem with traps placed around the condo and ants visibly trailing across the kitchen counter.

  While we understand the challenges of maintaining a property exposed to ocean elements, the lack of cleanliness and upkeep was a letdown. It’s unfortunate because the condo has so much potential. We genuinely feel for the owner, but we wouldn’t return to this property in its current condition. With better care, this could be a fantastic place to stay.

  -The clogged shower was an oversight by the cleaning staff, and when notified, the homeowner immediately arranged for the cleaner to address the issue. While the guest decided to clear the clog themselves, the cleaner was already scheduled to resolve it.
  -All furnishings, rugs, and kitchen items were purchased just two years ago, and the owner regularly upgrades elements throughout the property to maintain its quality. They’ve addressed the cleaning team's attention to detail to ensure future guests don’t experience the same issues.
  -Ocean environments can accelerate wear, particularly with appliances like the coffee maker. The owner has replaced it twice in the past two years to keep it in top condition.
  -The homeowner takes great pride in maintaining the condo and providing guests with a wonderful experience, and they’re actively working to ensure the home is in its best shape for future visitors.

• Beautiful stay close to the beach

  This was a beautiful property, in a safe gated community with swimming pools, tennis courts and beach access on the cliffs of Solana Beach. The home was clean, super comfortable with amazing beach views. The owner was very responsive. We will definitely stay here again!

• Just perfect!

  Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Upon arriving, there were a few treats, fresh flowers and a welcome note. Such a personal touch! The location - Solana Beach - was gorgeous with many walkable shops and restaurants. Both the pool and beach are virtually in your backyard. The condo itself is stylish and was immaculate - cleanliness is a top priority for me and I was not disappointed. I was surprised we could see the ocean from the living room and I enjoyed coffee there every morning. Finally, the owner of the property was quick to respond and extremely helpful. I highly recommend this property!
