5/5 The house was perfect for our stay. Everything was clean and worked well. The air conditioner was only necessary in the later hours to cool down the house for night. Close to Lassen National Park which made it easy to get to. The town is extremely small and restaurants are sparse so I would suggest making sure you have enough food to prepare.

Quiet Mountain Solitude
5/5 The house and kitchen and were fully equipped with everything we needed. It was totally plug and play as we have 2 small children and wanted it as simple as possible. The house is set back from the main road on a quiet street and there is a full sized yard. There was also a cornhole set which the kids loved. There really were no drawbacks or surprises as the pictures accurately illustrated the property. It is also a 20 minute drive to the Lassen Park entrance so it was super convenient for our visit. We all enjoyed the quiet mountain solitude and will return next time.
a perfect "base camp"!
5/5 Terrific rental! Clean, quiet, well-stocked (even had a pizza stone)! Excellent location for easy access to Lassen. We had been worried about whether the place would get too hot, but between keeping the shades down and using the swamp cooler, it was pleasantly cool. We also appreciate being able to check in early. The only negative was the wi-fi. It works but was really slow - streaming wasn't possible.

5/5 Easy 15 minute drive to the Northwest entrance of Lassen. Kitchen was well appointed. Bedrooms very comfortable. Colorful neighborhood. Nice living room to relax in. Could not get wall furnace to work, but we did not need it much as there were a few space heaters.
