  What an amazing stay at Mariposa cabin in Shaver Lake. Our host Jerry was so welcoming and fantastic with answering any question we let The home is so beautiful and well decorated. It lived up beyond our expectations. Having the jacuzzi on the deck overlooking the forest was a highlight.We will definitely plan another trip to Mariposa cabin.

• Perfect for family gatherings

  From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we were engulfed in the magic of Cabin Mariposa!

  This cabin has three levels which is perfect for everyone to spread out and enjoy the time together plus there’s a huge deck with a wonderful Hot Tub!

  Our host was probably one of the best we’ve ever encountered! The personal touches, the communication… everything was just as we would expect it to be.

  If you’re looking for the perfect place to stay while visiting China Peak, Shaver Lake, or the surrounding area, you can’t go wrong!

Also, thank you so much for advising us of the dishwasher wheels! We just installed 2 new wheels today and are thankful to have guests like yourselves managing the cabin like it was your own. • Delightful Mountain Retreat

  This log cabin is beautiful and tucked away on a quiet cul de sac. The giant windows allowed for fantastic views of all the trees. When we arrived Cabin Mariposa was very clean and expertly decorated for a lovely mountain/lake vacation experience. There is plenty of parking and a special extended deck that allows for unloading/loading without having to use the stairs. The great room, kitchen area, and back deck offer lots of space for seating. We enjoyed the hot tub, horse shoe pit, and games in the cabin. Mountain living with modern ammenities. There is a half bath on the main floor with the full baths being on the upper floor and basement. We had a small group so no impact for our trip, just know it is technically a 2 1/2 bath cabin. First cabin we have stayed in that does not allow access to the Primary bedroom which is on the main floor. All bedrooms are either up or down a flight of stairs. Our cabin hosts, Mikaila and Jerry were great.

  Being that we have lived in Fresno for almost 10 years and this is our first trip to Shaver Lake, we couldn't be more surprised by this magical place! Here we thought all this time that we needed to go to Lake Tahoe to get this experience. Boy, were we wrong. This cabin was immaculate, the host's taste in décor is fabulous and the extras made our trip so much more special. Many thanks to our host for sharing their home with us! We can't wait to come back!
