The San Lorenzo River is just a short walk away, as well as the well-known and iconic Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, which is is one of the town‚s main draws, offering family-friendly fun year-round. Visit Municipal Wharf and listen to the calls of the sea lions, rent surfboards and hit Cowell's Beach in search of the perfect wave, or rent some bikes and explore some of the nearby paved trails. You better pack your sunscreen and beach towel! The soft sands of Santa Cruz Beach are less than half a mile from you! Other attractions include the Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History, a day trip to San Francisco (77.5 miles), and the Monterey Bay Aquarium, only 46 miles south.

5/5 The layout of the place is definitely different, but overall, the place is great and surprisingly quiet! The place was cleaned well and the bed was comfy. I loved the water pressure in the shower. The owner, Keith, was thoughtful in the amenities he provided, such as a water filter pitcher, toiletries, some cooking spices and an extension cord to charge our electronic devices. Literally steps away from the boardwalk. Nice size for my husband, 8 month old and I. We would definitely stay here again.
