  Clean space, matched online photos. Had everything we needed and all kitchen appliances were practically new, hardly used. The location was ideal, we could walk to dinner in less than 10 minutes! You don't have to venture out too far to find some good local spots! 14 minute drive from the SD airport and we were pleasantly surprised that we didn't get air traffic noise! Very good windows installed.

  Only con is it's a little tighter in space than it appears online. For 2 people this works, but we had our teen daughter with us for a soccer national ID event that made sharing the 1 bedroom bathroom a little inconvenient. We made it work. I'd stay again if it's just 2 of us vs 3.

  My wife and kids loved the location. It’s a nice one bedroom apartment tucked away from the city. Everything was clean. We will come back.

  This apartment on the second floor of the Big Blue House was great! It was the perfect answer to my travel needs. As a frequent business traveler, I grow tired of expensive and overpriced hotels and eating out for each meal. Consequently, I engage alternative accommodations that will permit me to take my own meals, and if the stay is long enough, to do laundry (so I don't have to pack a huge suitcase).

  This apartment was clean and comfortable. It is located in a quiet neighborhood within an easy 12-minute drive to downtown. It has all the amenities one needs for a week-long stay including a new high efficiency washer/dryer and an updated modern kitchen. It also has one parking space dedicated to the unit - no need to go hunting for parking on the neighborhood street!

  I recommend this unit; you will not be disappointed.

• Family Fun at the Big Blue House!

  What an amazing stay at The Big Blue House! My family of four felt so comfortable during our Spring Break vacation. We stayed at unit 3 and the upstairs corner unit allowed us to have an awesome city lights view at night. The place was impeccably clean! The appliances and furnitures are all brand new! The bathroom was so well designed and we loved the mirrors and smart storage. We appreciate all the supplies provided: lush towels, shampoo, conditioner, soaps. The host thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Thank you. The location is perfect! Close to Little Italy, Balboa Park and everything we wanted to explore. We’ve found a gem of a place! We’re definitely coming back!
