• Nicely designed, dirty home.

  The house was beautifully designed and incredibly dirty.

  Pros: the pool, hot tub, surround sound in backyard, the overall backyard space, the open layout, fairly equipped kitchen, the towels provided and the owners quick communication (up until I seriously complained of course).

  Cons: years of dirt, dust and grime on the toilets, light fixtures and all kitchen appliances. The kitchens trash and recycling were halfway full when I checked in. I spent over 5 hours cleaning the first day because I spent weeks looking and my family was flying in later that evening. Owner dropped off extra toiletries (because he only left 1 roll for each bathroom for a week stay for 6 ppl) and put the paper towel unwrapped on the dirty outside mat ? All my guests also complained that it smelled like cats or dogs had been living there. We deduced that the front bathroom had a litter box in there.

  I don’t think you shouldn’t stay here because once I got the place clean it went without incident but I would be careful. I say have a back up plan if you’re a clean person.

  FYI, I did let the owner know his place was dirty as soon as I arrived and did the walk through and he was shocked as he claimed he was there cleaning the day before… he went on to offer to come back and reclean or to send the neighbor over. At that point I obviously lost all faith in his ability to properly clean and politely declined since my only options were to allow him to do another bad job, cancel or clean myself.

  - We use a professional cleaning crew to ensure that the home is cleaned and sanitized between guest stays. Our crew does a walk-through of the home before all guest arrivals and we’re confident that the home met our high cleanliness standards before your check-in.
  - Unfortunately, multiple house rules were broken during your stay. While we want our guests to enjoy their stay here, we also expect them to respect our house rules and treat the property as their own.
  - While we regret our home was not up to your expectations, we’re happy to share that our most recent guests reported no issues.
  - We truly go above and beyond for our guests and are confident that future guests will have a wonderful stay!

  Back yard and pool great. Plenty of space inside and everything very clean
