Just loved the bungalow. Amazing kitchen, comfy beds and furniture plus allows a pet! Perfect for me to stay when I visit my daughter!

We had four adults and had plenty of room. The house is private and quiet at night. It was close to everything we wanted to do by car….the zoo, La Jolla kayaking, whale watching, downtown, Midway museum, Torrey Pines, etc. We could walk from the house to church, to restaurants, to stores, to the pier, to the beach. There was a farmers market with lots of vendors and food trucks on Wednesday afternoon that we walked to. The set up is just perfect. You can see the ocean/sunset from the back deck and Sea World’s fireworks every night at 9pm. We sat out and drank coffee on the patio while the others slept in. It was a safe neighborhood and my daughter went running several mornings by herself. The house was very clean and has everything you need. There is a grocery store near and a Target as well. The owners are responsive to questions and want to make sure you have a great trip. We took several of their restaurant suggestions….all were very good. I have already recommended this place to friends. I would definitely come back if I were in San Diego again
This place is great! Everything was well organized. Very neat and a pleasant neighborhood.
The San Diego Hideout is in a quiet neighborhood in Ocean Beach about 8 blocks to the bustling Newport Ave and the beach. It’s a two story unit with two bedrooms and a full bath upstairs and half-bath downstairs. It is beautifully appointed with updated appliances, dishes and other kitchen utensils plus both a Keurig machine and a regular coffee maker. There are TVs downstairs and in both bedrooms which makes it easy for the family to watch their own shows. The bedrooms have access to a balcony with views of the beach, the ocean as well as Mission Beach and Sea World. In fact, every night you can see the Sea World fireworks from the balcony. The place is really comfortable, even for three adults and one child. There’s plenty of space to spread out and unwind compared to being cramped up in a hotel room. You also have access to a spacious patio with furniture and a gas grill, and if you would like beach toys, chairs and an umbrella the owner will provide it for you. The unit is on the owner’s property, at the back accessible through the alley, which has a parking space. There is a high fence and shrubbery that separates the unit from the owner’s home. Both Evolve and the owner of the unit were amazing to work with when it came to setting up the reservation to getting detail information about the unit itself. I would highly consider renting this place again should I return to San Diego.
The online photos do not do justice to this property. Like-new condition, everything we could have needed was provided. We were beyond pleased.
