  Prior to booking, we were a little concerned that the location of this property might a little bit removed from the things that we usually liked to do in Napa. Within a few days into our trip, we came to love the location of the home and had a whole new Napa Valley experience. The home itself is lovely. Upon arrival the house was very clean and the neutral colors of the interior created a relaxing environment. The home is surrounded by vineyards and places to explore. Napa is famous for wine, but don't miss out on the food! A few local recommendations - Pick up quesadillas from La Luna Market (right around the corner). Enjoy a glass of wine or cup of coffee and the beautiful grounds at Inglenook (across the street). Choose a bottle of wine and charcuterie and picnic at V. Sattui (just up the street). Explore the museum and gift shop at The Culinary Institute in St. Helena. Don't overlook the little theater in St. Helena for some unique movie "experiences. And, for cooking ingredients, be sure to visit Sunshine Market. This is just a snapshot of the many things to do with in 20 minutes of this adorable home.

  Our stay at 1155 Grape Ln was unforgettable. Some things that made it that way: the view of the vineyards in the morning, walking distance to Rutherford Grill, cleanliness of the home, layout of the home/kitchen, the bbq, the hot tub, and the house amenities. The hosts were easy to contact and accommodating. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly.

• Rutherford neighborhood treasure

  This was a fabulous home with a perfect location. The owners did an outstanding job ensuring the home was equipped with everything needed for an extended Napa stay. The bedrooms were cozy, with comfortable bedding and ample closet space. The main living spaces were bright and airy, and the kitchen is a cook’s dream. The outside spaces were also incredible. We truly enjoyed the privacy of the backyard and hottub, and spent tons of time enjoying the beauty of the Star Vineyard and Vaca Mountain range from the front patio.

  The location of the home cannot be beat. It is in the heart of Napa Valley and conveniently located near charming towns, incredible wineries and wonderful restaurants. The neighbors were also very friendly.

  Most importantly, the hosts were very accommodating and responsive to all our questions and requests. They offered amazing suggestions and made us feel very welcome in their charming home. We look forward to staying here again.

  We had an amazing month at this house. Location, location, location! It was great to be in between St. Helena and Yountville. We were in the middle of everything including all of our favorite vineyards and restaurants. The house had everything we needed to relax and entertain. The backyard and grounds are landscaped beautifully. It was nice to have the hot tub and fire pit. This house is furnished very well, and all is still in perfect condition, including the bedding. Which is sometimes hard to find with a rental. There was never a time that we felt that we didn’t have everything we wanted or needed at the house. Caroline and Ricco were very attentive to any questions or needs we had during our stay. If you’re considering this house, don’t hesitate. You will love it!
