Beautiful home - Is a trek to get there!
3/5 The home is beautiful and pretty well equipped to be able to enjoy a nice family vacation. The kitchen is well stocked and the pool is amazing.
Guests need to be aware of the distance to get up there, it’s definitely a mountain top! From the exit of the freeway to the front door is a 12.5 mile curvy stretch. The last 4 miles are up the hill with some paved sections and some non-paved (dirt and gravel). It’s not a pleasant way up especially if you didn’t know before hand what to expect. Knowing this information ahead of time will help make decisions as to whether you actually want to rent this house and be better prepared. If we would have known this prior to the day of the reservation we might not had rented this place or we would at least had stopped at the grocery store prior to making the 12.5 mile trip up to the house.
My goal in providing this information is to not discourage anyone from renting this place but to help inform you of the location so that it can be taken into consideration as you make plans. You are also advised to try to get to the house prior to sunset for safety reasons given the conditions of the road and active wildlife.

Phenomenal
5/5 This was an amazing adventure. The property manager was awesome. She drove down in the rain to help my driver get us up the mountain to the house and drove him back down. The view is breathtaking and a great place to unwind and relax.
