  • Lake FUN

We had a blast at the lake, which was steps from the property.

  • Hidden Gem

This property is a hidden gem. Tucked away in a quiet community. There are plenty of things to do on the property. Tennis, pickle ball, ping pong, pool. There are paddle boards, paddle boat, canoe and floatie available at the water. I was worried about not having cable or wifi but it actually worked out great. Everyone unplugged and put their phones down. If you want to check out Pine Crest lake it is not far from the house.

  • Got Away and Reconnected

This was a nice get away to reconnect with nature and my family. It was nice having no cell service and have the chance to read or play board games without distractions. This property was picked because of its proximity to Pinecrest Lake, one of our favorite places to visit. It was so nice to be able to bring our dogs with us (Ripley loved playing with Tipsy!) Everything was clean and orderly. The private lake on site was perfect for introducing our 1 year old daughter to the water in a more intimate and safer setting than Pinecrest. The amenities were perfect for our family!

  • Nice location but needs updating

We traveled as a family with 3 children, ages 6 mos, a 3 1/2 year old and a 7 year old. Pros: property was clean and well stocked, nice deck with gas grill, washer/dryer, a short walk to the beach/lake access, beautiful scenery, paddle boards and pedal boats at the lake front for anyone to use, close to PinecrestCons: entire property is dated and could use updating, the screen doors were broken and kept falling off the track, downstairs window wouldn’t open properly, NO a/c (it was extremely hot at night and we had trouble sleeping, especially the baby), no fans other than a ceiling fan in the main living area and one in the loft. It would’ve been nice to have some portable fans in each room for extra air flow especially since there is no AC. The downstairs bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable. All of the bed pillows were pancake flat and should be replaced.I wouldn’t recommend for families with a crawler or new walker. There isn’t a ton of space for them to roam and several hazards (stairs going up the loft and stairs going down to the other bedrooms), elevated fireplace surround.

    Manager's Response:

Hi Alicia, we always appreciate hearing from our guests, but the homeowner would like to take a moment to clarify a few things raised in your review: “Dear Alicia, glad you enjoyed the beauty of the area, including using the paddle boards and pedal boats on our private lake steps away. We really value your feedback about the pillows and bedding, it’s the first we heard of it, but have just ordered replacements, thank you. We are coming up this weekend and will take a look at the screen door. Sounds like it was unseasonably warm the time you were there. AC is not a common amenity in most cabins in our area because it tends to not get uncomfortably hot, but with weather patterns changing your recommendation for fans is an excellent one that we will add. Thank you again for providing us with this helpful information.”

  • Great location and overall nice cabin!

My family and I had a great stay. The cabin was perfect for our family of 4. We enjoyed playing in the snow at Leland Meadows and had great fishing in Pinecrest.
