  This room is exactly the same as the rooms booked directly with Everline, except for a couple things. The room itself was pretty dirty. The couch is pretty thrashed with quite a bit of staining, the floors were dirty and there were a few unknown substances that had dripped or splashed on the walls and were not cleaned up. The linens were clean and the dishes were clean. The other reason is that: if you run out of towels, toilet paper, linens, etc. the resort will not replace or give any of those things to you. There are also no paper towels or kitchen towels. There was one, but if you’re there for any length of time and cooking, you will need much more. So, I would say, book through everline itself. The rooms are much cleaner, it ends up costing about the same with all the many fees tacked on and, if you run out of Tp, you can get some more!

  If you're looking for a comfortable room in, or around Lake Tahoe, look no further. Everline Resort & Spa (formerly called the Resort at Squaw Creek) has a terrific gym, heated pool, hot tubs, shops, and restaurants to keep you entertained on property. The mountains, creek, river, and nearby Lake keep you entertained and busy off-property. The room itself is like a small apartment, kitchen, microwave, fireplace, comfortable seating and a large couch, with a comfy, cozy king-sized bed, and two large high-def TVs. But you won't want to watch TV. If you're not looking out the bay windows at the forest, you'll be busy doing something much more meaningful and memorable than watching TV!

  My wife and I live across the meadow from Everline. We can walk to the resort from our home. Yes, it's that good.
