A bit misleading
3/5 Overall we enjoyed our stay. The listing described the location as being approximately 20 minutes from Yosemite, however this is only to the Mariposa Grove - Yosemite Valley is approximately a 1.5 hour drive. The listing is also described as a home which is not accurate - this is an apartment on someone's property and you will share a very thin wall with other renters, and we were unfortunate not only to be unaware of this but to have a crying baby share the other unit during what we hoped would be a relaxing stay. No dishwasher and a derelict tiny home just yards away from the building. It was a simple stay and a more affordable option but not necessarily what we were led to believe.

Hi Taylre, we’re glad to hear that you enjoyed your overall stay, but we’re sorry that some aspects of the property didn’t meet your expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
- The listing will be updated to clarify that the property is a duplex, not a standalone house
- The unit was designed to accommodate larger groups by offering an adjoining door between units. While the walls are insulated, we will look into adding more soundproofing for guests who are not renting both sides
- We apologize for the inconvenience of not having a dishwasher in the unit
- The tiny home nearby is currently under renovation and is not occupied. A tarp was put on top to cover during the winter months, but unfortunately it flew off partly from the winds. We are working on replacing it
