  Unfortunately, our experience did not align with the price point at all. There are several problems with the property but the glaring one was the cleanliness. Within minutes of our arrival I had been greeted with spider webs in my face (right in the entryway to the closet), and stepped on a used band-aid! Beyond that there were several inconveniences that just added up to a disappointing stay. They include:

  - No bedside electrical outlets

  - Shower with insane water pressure (also good luck having a hot shower that lasts longer than 5 minutes)

  - No fan in the bathroom

  - No bin for recycling, only the can outside

  - Outer fence that has trouble locking from the outside (either needs to be fixed or further instructions are needed)

  - Very creaky but decently comfortable bed

  All in all what you’re paying for is the view, which we didn’t get to enjoy since it rained all but one day we were there. After going through past reviews, I can assure you that the dock is still inaccessible, the screens surrounding the covered patio are torn and fading away, and there’s an old tire still sitting at the edge of the lake (not sure what that’s about). The nightly rate plus the laughably high cleaning fee for what you end up with is a joke. Save your money.

  This was our 4th time and would like to stay again next year. View is awesome. Accommodations are excellent. Great bed. Everything you need in the kitchen. Stephanie is an outstanding property manager. Huge thanks

  This was our third stay and always lives up to our expectations. Stephanie is the perfect host. The house is clean and well furnished kitchen and bath. Extremely comfortable beds and the view is spectacular. We are returning again in November. Thanks so much

• Filthy home

  House is nothing like the pictures shown. Marriott & Evolve have been supplied with pictures on the POOR, DIRTY condition of this home. Neighborhood is VERY bad. Home right across street has garbage piled 4 ft high. We didn’t feel safe in the home. Home has weeds & long grass. Window sills have bat/mice poop stacked up. Can’t find much room to park given high grass. No lake access due to high weeds & pier is damaged. Inside of the home is VERY dirty. Windows are filthy inside and outside. Inside the home there’s live spiders with webs at every window. There’s even webs in the blinds. Dead bugs are on the window ledges. Beds are placed right next to the windows with all of the spiders and webs. Floor was dirty. Furniture was cheap, uncomfortable and not vacuumed. Rugs had food crumbs. Major dust on ceramic tile behind couch along with garbage. Glass on pictures hasn’t been cleaned in ages. Mold in bathroom. House very hot when we got there. Room w/bunk beds never cooled down. Vents dusty and rusty. Frig leaked leaving water on the floor. Screened porch is warped, has broken screens, hadn’t been cleaned in ages, had debris, & in desperate need of repair. Table outside hadn’t been cleaned. We couldn’t enjoy the deck as it was filthy and in despair.

  Thank you very much for letting us stay at your lake house. We had a great time. We have two little boys who loved to play on the deck and on the local pier. Your house was very clean and had everything we needed. We would love to come back to visit soon.
