This is a very cute little place in the woods with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. We were bummed that the hot tub was very dirty and unusable.
We cooked in the kitchen and immediately noticed a strong gas smell. We turned off the oven and opened the windows but not before we got headaches and lightheaded. We did not see any co2 detectors but that doesn’t mean they weren’t there. The kitchen also had a substantial ant problem.
My husband had an allergic reaction to something in the middle of the night and had to go to the emergency room. That could be unrelated to the home but he has no known allergies and as soon as we left the house the reaction got better.
There is a lot of construction on the property which made it a bit challenging to walk around with small children.
This could have been great but we won’t be back.

We had a fantastic stay at this cabin. The cabins right on the snow line. We really love the aesthetic. Very clean and cozy. My family and myself loved curling up on the giant's beanbag in front of the fireplace and watching the snow fall from the sky. Very private. Chris the owner and Nate the we're very Responsive and accommodating. I actually forgot my wedding ring when we left from our stay and they communicated wonderfully and make sure I got it back safe and sound. The views and sunset from the deck are spectacular.

Great place to stay tucked away in the woods. Close to Nevada City and Grass Valley, which made dinner and shopping very accessible. Hiking spots in all directions. We wished we were able to take advantage of the huge deck and fire pit, but it rained hard all day the first whole day we were there. We would love to come back again. Great communication with the host as well. Would love to stay here again to take full advantage of all the amenities next time.

The cottage was cozy but spacious for 4. The kitchen was well-equipped and the place was sparkling clean. The deck was huge and has a nice view of the mountains. It’s a relaxing place to stay yet just about 15 drive to Nevada City. We really enjoyed our stay.
