• Rustic dosnt mean dirty

  The place is poorly maintained and very dirty. Old rotten carpet with insects and spider webs. Very limited and rusty sanitary facilities. We had to leave the same evening with our young children in order to find another option for the night. The host was not polite to us and we lost our vacation day on December 24 because of this bad accommodation. On top of all this the price was way too expensive and the refund procedure is very complex and we are still waiting.

  - While the cabin is cleaned thoroughly before each stay, its location in the Sequoia National Forest can occasionally lead to some insects or cobwebs appearing between cleanings and arrivals.
  - All rugs in the cabin are less than 8 months old, and we assure you the property is regularly maintained.
  - Regarding your refund, we followed up with Evolve and they confirmed a partial refund has been processed.
