Love love love this house!
5/5 This house is perfect! The view is stunning, the house is well layed out and has everything you need. It was so quiet, it is hard to belive it is only about 12 minutes to town. We were in town for a wedding, and it was hard to leave the house and go to all the festivities. I could have just stayed at the house for a week and never left. Hiking down to the river is worth it, but you can also just sit on the porch and take in the lovely views! The host checked in to make sure everything was going smoothly and was very helpful without being intrusive. The upstairs can get a little warm. It cooled off easily at night, but if you have little ones who go to sleep early and are used to a cool room, you might have to plan a little to make sure it cools off in time. We were there at the hottest time of year, so I imagine its not an issue most of the year.

Cousins’ Reunion
5/5 This house was just right — and amazing!
8 “old” cousins gathered from all over the USA to reminisce and reacquaint.
The seating allowed best visiting while enjoying the view. The location was quiet and deer visited while hawks (buzzards) flew overhead.
A walk toward the river was challenging because of the steep hill. The adventurous will enjoy.
Great place and beautiful surroundings.

5/5 We enjoyed our stay at Folkenvale! Everything was fantastic. We enjoyed watching the sunset and eating dinner on the deck overlooking the canyon. I would love to stay here again in the future.
