  We were unfortunately very disappointed with our stay and had to leave the property the same night.

  The internet was unstable and kept going in and out. The host did come over to try and fix it, which I appreciate, but the connection remained unreliable.

  More concerning was that the heater did not work. The house was approximately 55 degrees inside, and only one small space heater was provided. It was not sufficient to heat the room, let alone the home, and the temperature was uncomfortable.

  The listing also states the property is suitable for elderly guests; however, the stairs to enter the home are very steep and were slippery, which felt unsafe and misleading.

  Additionally, there was a missing smoke detector in one of the bedrooms, which made me extremely uncomfortable from a safety standpoint.

  The host was responsive to the internet concern and then could not reach them. We did not feel comfortable staying and had to leave that evening.

  -Regarding the internet, we arrived within 30 minutes of the report to restore the connection and confirmed with the service provider that it was fully functional.
  -While the wall heater is being professionally serviced to provide more options, the home’s fireplace and space heater were available and tested at approximately 65°F during the stay to ensure a pleasant environment.
  -We take safety very seriously; the property is equipped with all required smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, which are inspected between every guest visit.
  -The entry stairs are a part of the home's coastal layout and are pictured in the listing to help guests determine if the property is a good fit for their needs.
  -We are glad we could be accommodating by processing a full refund promptly through the booking channel once it was clear the home wasn't the right fit for your stay.

  We really enjoyed our stay here in Manhattan Beach! Such a beautiful place and setting. Having the windows and doors open to let in the fresh ocean breeze is just what our family needed. The mornings were peaceful, the afternoons relaxing and the evenings perfect for us. It is just a few steps to the beach and Strand Walk. The owner did a great job accommodating all our needs and the listing was very accurate description as to what to expect. We hope to come back and stay again. This place was very special and healing for us. Thank you so much for the hospitality!

  My wife and I had a great time at this Manhattan Beach House, it's a two-bedroom condo with views of the ocean and a awesome deck out back. The condo is on the second floor so it's up high enough to give you a view of the ocean. The place is literally one house from the beach which was perfect for us gave us quiet but still close enough to all the fun. It's a 10 minute walk down to the pier which had all kinds of great restaurants and bars there was two boardwalks one for walking and one for riding bikes. The condo has everything thing you could need the kitchen had pots and pan silverware glasses plates steak knives cutting boards blender iron ironing board the bathroom was nice clean and well stocked shampoo soap toilet paper and super soft towels. Bottom line this place was really nice we had a great time highly recommended.
