  • Fantastic studio apartment!

    This was a beautiful and well-maintained place to stay. I coordinated in advance with the owners and they permitted my two young children (less than 3 years old) to stay with us too.

    This apartment had plenty of room for our family, with a kitchen stocked with dishes and appliances (fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, teapot). There is no dishwasher, but there is a drying rack and lots of room for handwashing dishes. The king-size bed is very comfortable, and there are some chairs/recliners (including a massage chair!) that are excellent for relaxing. There is also lots of cabinets for hanging clothes or storing them in drawers.

    There are lots of windows, and the studio can get chilly in the nighttime/early morning and hot during the day. There is an electric fireplace that works great when it’s cool, and the windows/balcony can be opened when it’s hot. The balcony has a nice west-facing view, and some rocket launches can be seen without even leaving the lodging space.

    The apartment is above the owner’s garage, with a shared back entrance through the garden. There is a door between the owner’s living area and the access stairs to the studio, with a sliding door for additional privacy. There’s also lots of restaurants and grocery stores nearby, and beaches and trails within a short driving distance.

    Overall, an excellent place to stay with very nice owners. Highly recommend to anyone staying in the area!
