• Lake Arrowhead living at its Best

  Our recent Family time at this incredible home was magical. The approximate 4k s.f. home felt like it was an 8k+ s.f. home. Why? Incredible layout and comfort on 3 distinct and easily accessible floors--each living area offering something special-- all living areas boasting superior finishes, very comfortable beds with excess pillows and bedding, and all living space is easily accessible via two different stairways (the internal winding staircase was my family's favorite with castle-turrent like forest views and a wave of natural light through the perfectly placed windows ranking highest in thr list). The main floor with its two distinct large and comfortable living rooms is perfect for chilling out, watching movies, playing cards or board games with the family, reading a favorite book, or working on the computer. (BTW--I have stayed in a lot of places but have never experienced faster internet / wi-fi connectivity--faster than my corporate wi-fi at my office!) The gourmet-level kitchen with its new Viking stove-top / ovens and new appliances made dor an excellent "eat at home" option. The main patio, with its comfortable new patio furniture and plenty of shade (or sun!) was a great spot for that evening glass of wine and morning plate of eggs and bacon. The star-gazing from this deck was excellent as well. The main floor outside patio provides a tree-house like feel---this is what being at a mountain retreat is all about! The secondary floors provide great comfort--the master bedroom is impeccable with excess space, a fireplace and a bathroom that is more comfortable than most 5-star hotels. The en suite bedrooms all provided plenty of space, full / new bathrooms, and incredible privacy. The 3rd floor is a favorite--with a full secondary kitchen, playroom, full-sized pool table, and pub-type dart board to boot, all while watching your favorite sporting event or movie.

  The walk to the lake is idyllic--wonderful private path to the waterfront and swimming options very near by. Lovely, easily accessible, cleanest hiking paths we have ever experienced. The walk to the marina? A breeze, and a great way to take in the unique and picturesque lake views (lots of photos snapped on that walk).

  Our only "complaint" is we did not personally see a black bear. I saw a video of one near by rummaging through a neighboring home's trash cans, but did not experience that incredible nature moment on this trip! Next time!
