  From the outside the home looked great, the scenery was beautiful and surrounded by trees and snow. When we entered the home the first thing we noticed was the smell of wet dog. On the first floor there was dog hair on the shelves, the bar, under the stairs on the bean bags and to follow, along with the empty room where there was supposed to be a pool table. The renter didn’t remove this from the listing.

  There were brooms and dusters left everywhere like the house was cleaned in a rush and all they did was wipe things down instead of actually taking the time to clean.

  On the second floor, you could see the dirty scrub marks on every table surface and the stove as if they used a dirty wash cloth to clean the tables and appliances. I had to RE-CLEAN everythin so my wife and I could be comfortable eating on the tables. On top of that every single plate, cup, mug, pot pan etc were covered in grime, dirt and what it looked like burnt left food on the pans and even the pots! This was disgusting. Not only that, after reaching out to the home owner to relay that there was LEFTOVER FOOD in the fridge and trash from the previous tenants or renters that were staying in the home, I tried to use the dishwasher to attempt to have something clean to use to cook and drink with, but the dishwasher was broken!!! There was no dish soap to hand wash the dishes. I contacted the home owner and told me to “use the dishwasher” after I sent him a video of it being broken ….

  Furthermore in the listing it included a Game Room and other amenities the came along with it. NONE of the electronics worked! Nothing turned on and all the wires were gone. After reaching out to the home owner and asking him what was going on with the game room he then proceeded to tell me that none of the electronics worked. That he has “replaced” them -10 times and nothing works. I then proceeded to tell him that this was advertised on the website and he then told me that I was wrong and That he had them removed. So I then sent him the listing, what was included, pool table, games, photos etc.

  This was the worst experience! A total waste of money being that the home was completely filthy, nothing worked other than the TV’s and the light and the advertisement for fun, game room, get away. This was a joke.

  My wife and I spent our anniversary here after being married for a year. Never coming back. Every amenity and included extra in the home was a lie and falsely shown on the images on the site.

  It would be nice to have Lake Arrowhead beach access, however I was able to take my grandkids to Lake Gregory which was nearby and had fun activities. I liked the village shopping center. My stay was pleasant, relaxing, the area is nice and great for hiking.
