  Responsive host. Some issues were immediately resolved and other fixits not resolved during our stay. Spacious, clean home with nice holiday decorations. Easy parking and no need to climb steps to enter home. Convenient place to hang coats and park shoes just inside entrance. Nice outdoor fireplace, but really couldn’t use because of rainy weather. Dining table large enough for meals for our large party (16) but also for playing games. Open doorway between master bedroom and bath, makes it inconvenient for any guest other than occupants of the room to use the master bath shower.

The homeowners were disappointed to read your review, as they are accustomed to providing 5-star experiences, and would like to clarify the following:
  - We did our best to support your stay in real time, including a 4.5-hour round trip made by the homeowner’s husband to deliver pot holders, as well as sending our housekeeper to assist with a few concerns that came up, such as clarifying how to use the kitchen faucet.
  - The bedroom and bathroom layout is shown in the listing photos, but we understand it can be helpful to have extra clarity, and we are always happy to answer questions before booking.
  - We know it was disappointing not to be able to use the fire pit during your stay. Unfortunately, the rainy weather made it unsafe to operate, and this was something outside of our control.
  We do all we can to provide the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

  The property was clean, organized and beautiful. The kids had fun with the pool and ping pong tables. But we went for the 4th of July weekend and the home has no AC and it was absolutely miserable. If you go during summer, look for a place with AC. The picture of the lake is misleading - no lake view! And the house is far from the city activities (20 minutes to the village).

  Hi Sahar, we want our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we apologize you experienced some issues during your trip. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
  
  - The home description does not list A/C as an amenity; it does have a heater for colder months
  - We have provided plenty of fans, and when windows are open, the mountain breeze helps cool the home
  - The home has large windows that let in a lot of sunlight, making the top level warmer, while the second and third levels are much cooler
  - The lake is within walking distance, and the photo of the lake simply depicts the lake itself, but the listing does not claim a direct lake view
  - The drive to the village is typically 12-13 minutes when taking the normal route
