5/5 This is an additional note to my earlier review; we stayed at this property for two weeks, from 1.21 to 2.3 2026. I wanted to mention that both the rental team and the owner of this property were very communicative and helpful, with quick responses to any inquiries. The owner shipped a coffee maker to the property when we explained that we don't use a Keurig. That was very much appreciated.I'm changing my rating to five stars, as I think the noise concerns we had were fairly minor on the whole and may not affect others as much. Just be aware that there are definitely traffic sounds you will hear in the unit!On the whole, a very comfortable rental for a longer stay.

La Mesa Townhome
4/5 Overall, we had a great two-week stay at this townhome within walking distance of La Mesa village. It was large, clean and very well stocked, and the upper level living areas were open, nicely decorated and very pleasant. The only reason we give it four stars is that there is a certain noise level that renters should be aware of. There is considerable traffic and a trolley that runs frequently on the major street below the unit, and the noise is audible through the older lower level bedroom windows at night. Also, there were two very loud dogs next door that barked at us whenever we went on the balcony. I'm not sure if that would always be the case, but it was a minor nuisance for us during our stay. Overall, this is a very pleasing, comfortable and large space that makes a nice home away from home.
5/5 The house was spotless. Great to have a washer/dryer. Walking distance to stores, groceries and family that live in the area. The only drawback were the air fresheners that gave you a headache the minute you walked in. We found all of them and placed then outside for the duration of our stay to make everything perfect.

5/5 We enjoyed the house very much. It was perfect for our needs. The beds were comfortable which is a must have for me! Location was good for our visit to SDSU for parents weekend.

5/5 Everything was great! The view was great! Very cute place! My adult kids walked to the train a couple mornings to go downtown and to LaJolla. Thank you for the quiet place to rest!
