- Check-in/out times are not flexible in order to allow the cleaners adequate time between guests
- The home is accessible via keyless entry. The code is 0923
- Press the 'Yale' logo to unlock, and press it again to lock when leaving the home
- Be sure to check the weather on your way in. In the winter, Tahoe gets a lot of snow and ice, often requiring a 4WD vehicle and chains to effectively navigate the neighborhood
- Answers to most questions can be found in the guest book, which is located in a binder in the living room. Please reach out to the named guest contact for additional assistance
- Please inform the Guest Contact of any problems or concerns upon arrival, so we can work to address these immediately

CHECK-OUT INSTRUCTIONS:
- Check out before 10:00 AM
- Check-in/out times are not flexible in order to allow the cleaners adequate time between guests
- Prior to your departure, please tidy up the house by doing the following:
- Remove all perishable items
- Take out the trash and recycling
- Load and start the dishwasher
- Leave beds unmade
- Start a load of towels in the washer
- Turn off all lights, electronics, and small appliances
- Close and lock all windows and doors
- Additional fees will be imposed if the house is found in an unsatisfactory condition, so please return it to the condition in which you found it

HOUSE RULES:
- No smoking
- No pets allowed
- No events, parties, or large gatherings
- A few day guests are welcome, but no gatherings of more than 15 people are allowed and no unregistered guests after 9 PM are allowed
- House parties, weddings, corporate events, and commercial functions are prohibited, this also includes the use of the space for commercial purposes (including video recording and photoshoots)
- Please observe quiet hours between 9:00 PM-8:00 AM and please move indoors by 9 PM. No sound may be audible from the property line during quiet hours. The Placer County Noise Ordinance does not permit any music outside at any time
- Excessive noise reported by the neighbors will result in a noise violation notice from the County and fines, payable by the guest
- Must be at least 25 years old to book
- Please report any damages that occur to both the Guest Contact and Evolve

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive plus snow tires or chains are required in the winter months to access the property and make it up the driveway
- Salt and shovels are available on the property. We have a snow shoveling service that will clear the driveway after a blizzard.
- This is a 2-story home, stairs are required to enter and to access all bedrooms
- Due to the presence of wild animals, trash must never be left outside (please place trash inside the bear box)
- Trash and recycling is collected on Wednesdays. Any trash or recycling bags that do not fit in the two bear box trash cans can be placed inside the bear box next to the trash cans. If the bear box is completely full upon checkout, please leave any extra trash or recycling in the mud room.
- The heating system at this home is radiant floor heating
- This is not a party house, please respect our lovely home as if it's yours. Please be mindful of all our neighbors, the house rules, and parking restrictions
- Please provide an accurate guest count in your reservation. To comply with Placer County short-term rental laws, no more than 8 adults can stay at the property at any given time. This nighttime occupancy limit begins at 9:00 PM
- The hot tub is for guests in this home only. Please shower before using the hot tub
- No unsupervised children in the hot tub. Please ensure that children use the bathroom before entering the hot tub
- No glass, bottles, or food near the hot tub. If you have a beverage while in the hot tub please use a plastic cup
- Please follow the hot tub protocol (in the guest book) regarding treating with shock and chlorine after each use, as well as turning the temperature down to 80 F and securing the lid when you are checking out
- The hot tub & all outdoor amenities are unavailable during quiet hours

PARKING:
- 3 vehicles can be parked in the driveway (2 in the top driveway and 1 at the bottom of the driveway)
- Do not block the road at all
- In case of heavy snowfall, the driveway may only fit 2 cars. If this is the case, let the guest contact know and they will arrange for a snow shoveling service to clear excess snow from the driveway. There is public parking in Kings Beach for any extra cars that do not fit in the driveway
- The street gets icy and a 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive as well as snow chains are required in the winter months to access the property
- The driveway can accommodate up to 3 cars and the width of the street does not allow for street parking
- Your car will likely be towed if you park anywhere on Park Lane outside of the driveway
- Be sure to check the weather on your way in. Tahoe gets a lot of snow and ice, often requiring even a 4WD vehicle to have chains to effectively navigate the neighborhood
- With heavy snowfall Park Lane becomes a one-lane road, but there is a turnaround at the end of Park Lane (about 1-2 minutes past the house). We recommend using that in order to turn around and drive head-first up the driveway
- In case you are caught unprepared, we do have 2 sets of chains that fit a limited range of tire sizes.  If you get stuck in the one-lane road, you will be blocking traffic for the entire neighborhood and will need to call a tow truck
