  When we first got there all seemed well the 2 woman greeting us were nice and it was easy to find. There are some concerns which is why we didnt even stay longer than 30 minutes. They do not have the key so they ask that you do not lock it, they dont know where the key is and doesnt seem like they are getting one. They also said people have been onto the property before and im sure it could happen again. They lock the gate to leave at the end of the night which is a fire hazard and not safe in the slightest. They mention kayaks and cable tv the kayaks were filled will animal droppings and the tv did not have cable. We were really looking forward to this stay but thats how a lot of horror movies start so we decided to leave. Nothing against the owner or her business partner they were both very kind but we just decided to be safe in the situation

  Our sincerest apologies for your discomfort. Thank you for your time in sharing your thoughts. We have immediately refunded your entire booking, based on your reflection of the property. We understand the backcountry may not be for everyone and need to have a more detailed description of the type of property to help our guests feel at home when they arrive.
  
  We were very sad you were disappointed and are glad to share with you the immediate improvements that were added, sadly, the day after you left. The cottage is secure and has a lockbox for keys to both the cottage and the gate for all of our guests!! We want to ensure your safety.
  
  And Kayaks are stored outside. Yes! There are ducks and geese and yes they do Do-Do! We are always happy to clean up any area if brought to our attention during your stay. Staying on a farm in the country can be dirty. The cottage is stocked with hand sanitizer and soap for everyone's clean-up and sanitary needs. We're committed to maintaining a clean and comfortable environment.
  
  The WiFi is described as "cable" by Evolve. We agree and need to work with them to make sure the description is more accurate. It will be updated to note WiFi through Netgear and works through screen sharing with your devices. We are considering another media source to add entertainment options, so your future stays are more enjoyable.
  
  It was very nice to meet you both! So sorry you didn't have a chance to experience the beautiful sunset that evening or the amazing starry sky that night.
