• Fantastic locale with great features, lots of noise/dust

  Our stay in was a group of 8 people and overall the home has several good features; complimentary amenities, ample linens and towels, clean and comfortable décor, close proximity to many attractions, comfortable beds and fantastic views (less the new construction). We enjoyed the features but had several issues that the PM Company (Evolve) did not respond to during our stay and after 3 weeks has yet to address the more serious concerns. Communication with their team was fine before the rental period but was silent during our stay and nonexistent following the weekend.Minor issues we encountered were: trash/recycle cans were full upon arrival (and no one collected after contacting but Evolve promised to do so immediately), construction debris along the walkway and raining down into the pool area (tar paper, metal flashing with sharp edges, styrofoam insulation panels, cigarette butts), pool is not 7' as listed, more like 6', upstairs smoke detector at stairway was missing, AC return registers and bathroom vents were caked with dirt and grime, remote controls for the upstairs master bedroom TV were missing batteries or they were dead, no shade over table area by pool (needs an umbrella). Even with all these items it would have been tolerable but the real issue was the false advertising of a "Serene Oasis...a quiet, relaxing retreat". With the extensive construction activities and noise on all the lots within the neighborhood (over 30 being built), relaxing was far from possible. Given the shotcrete operations for siding, flashing install, house wrapping, etc. from 7am to 5 pm Thu-Sat., the noise alone was unbearable, not to mention the debris and fugitive dust created. Obviously, this has been going on for several months yet no one mentioned it in the listing or subsequent correspondence, which is completely unacceptable. Now that the home is vacant until April, the next renter will not be subjected to these issues but will have to contend with the substandard PM Evolve. I hope the Owner reads this review because they need to reconsider Evolve as their agent given the lack of any communication to address and resolve my issues following several text messages, emails, and phone calls (per their policy).
