  When we entered there was a live mouse stuck to a sticky trap in the upstairs bathroom that we had to deal with. Constant saw dust falls from the ceiling into the dining room area. No beach towels. Was not informed that we could not use our own paddle board or kayak at the lake. The cabin otherwise was comfortable, spacious, well stocked, and in a great location.

• Great cabin in Groveland - 1 hour from Yosemite

  We stayed here during a family trip to Yosemite and it was a great house. It was well stocked, clean and comfortable. Main floor (middle level) had 1 bath and 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed. There is a large master bed/bathroom upstairs with a small loft, and the 4th room is downstairs with a twin over full bunk bed and another full bathroom. The lower level is a large open space and great for kids, but doesn't have a separate door, just a baby gate at the top of the stairs. There is also a baby gate to the upper loft area so it's great for little kids or pets. There was also a cot and air mattress available for use. Would stay here again.

• Nice place high fees

  Nice place and looks exactly like the pictures. Comfortable beds.

  Hidden $46 fee per car. Not on the VRBO listing. Mgmt communication about it says $44. The amenities available are not worth that if you’re visiting Yosemite.

  The fees added up to about 43% of the cost without the additional car fees.

  Checkout instructions do not match the very short information sheet in the house.

  No towel bars or hooks to hang towels. None. Many reviews mention this and this simple thing hasn’t been fixed.

  Owner listed as the only contact and when contacted with questions wasn’t happy to be contacted.

  Handwritten instructions for the electronics weren’t clear and the speakers never worked, but we didn’t use the TV that much.

  No curtains in downstairs bedroom

  Ice maker not working

  This is not a vacation rental by owner. It is vacation rental by management company. I don’t want to have to register for a second app/website for a one time rental.

  I would not stay in Pine Lake again.
