4/5 The house was clean and beautiful but the alarm going off when we first got there with no one knowing how to turn it off was not fun and the ants where a little annoying and their was some weird stains in the shower that freaked my kid out a little but other than that islt was awsome and convenient for everthing we wanted to see and do in the redroods.

Beautiful and Excellent Home in Eureka!
5/5 This is an absolutely beautiful gem if looking for a quiet getaway in Northern, CA. The house was lovely and immaculately kept that featured a beautiful open floor concept and a wraparound porch with all the privacy and Zen of the garden.
The location is great for those looking for beautiful views, outdoor options, and a town with very friendly people and great food (Brick and Fire, Five Eleven, Cafe Waterfront, and The North on Fourth were our favorites).
CA getaway
4/5 The house was located in a good spot for our trips to see the redwoods. It was very clean. There were good restaurants in the area. We enjoyed going just outside of town to a farm with a pumpkin patch.
The only downside to the house was that there is not a good, comfortable chair to sit in and read. It would also be nice to have a chair in the bedroom. Instructions for the TV would also be helpful.

No t.v., poor communication
2/5 The home was clean but smelled funny, like cat pee or litter. Someone left load of laundry in the dryer fir us to deal with. Majir issye was no t.v. and vrbo said contact evolve. Evolve said contact local owner who was traveling and no help and poor communication . I woukd never rent home with no tv.. kitchen nice and huge. Living room, huge with one small couch. No rugs to do stretches and exercises on anywhere. Not enough surface area in bathroom although it was large. Shower clogged and i had to clean out a gross amount of hair not mine.

Owner’s Response: “Hi Brenda, it seems that a previous guest may have used the TV for a gaming console, which caused the input to change and not reset. Although we were away at the time, we promptly communicated with you to provide potential solutions. We’re happy to report that the TV issue has since been resolved, and we’ve added a password to prevent any future changes to the settings. As for the property, it is listed as pet-free, so no dogs or cats are allowed. We were unaware of the drain issue until you kindly sent us a photo, and we sincerely appreciate your help in bringing this to our attention. As you can see by our many great reviews, we are accustomed to providing five-star experiences, and we look forward to this property hosting many happy travelers!”
