Lovely Concord Townhome Retreat w/ Community Pool!

  Host did not provide instructions prior to check-in time, did not respond to texts on check-in day and I had to call to get info on how to access the unit. Oddly, everything had to be passed through text instead of a welcome email with all info. Photos on VRBO site are heavily staged. DO NOT expect it to look like the photos. There are multiple decoration pieces in the unit that clutter the space and make it feel cramped. The coffee table (chest) had sharp pieces sticking up on the top, not kid friendly. The unit was not clean with hair in the sinks and tubs, the kitchen was dirty and cluttered. There was heavy dust/sediment on the range hood and fridge top. The pullout couches on the first floor were not comfortable, we had to purchase foam pads and our own pillows to sleep on them. The gate to access the main entrance locked us out though it was "rigged" to stay open. The deadbolt to the main door is not installed properly- there is no deadbolt catch. The metal security screen to the main door handle could not be gripped by your hand as it is installed too close to the door jamb. Curtains installed do not block property street lights from lighting up the inside at night. The TV was oddly wired to a wall light in the adjacent closet, we had to figure out the closet light had to be turned on to watch TV.The quality & cleanliness of this unit did not match the description nor price. I took photos of above issues should anyone need to see. I feel like my family was swindled.

• Would stay here again

  The photos are a true representation of the property. It was very well stocked with everything you could possibly need, there was even a little welcome bottle of wine and some cookies. the location was perfect for us, located just a minutes walk to a shopping mall with several stores and quick service food choices. The bed was comfortable. It's an older unit, a little dated but clean.

  We were very happy with our choice. It is a well equipped and nicely decorated house in a quiet area, conveniently located 2 min walk from a shopping center with food store. Very nice and helpful landlady. Highly recommended.

• Condo near Pavilion

  Small two BR/1Ba condo. Bathroom is upstairs. Mattresses seem new, firm. Lots of Knick knacks to look at. Maybe a little too much for my taste. Owner made sure we were taken care of, she even made up the downstairs sofa bed.
