  Beautiful view of the canyon.

  Getting here was a bit confusing, the listing should definitely mention that it’s actually past the “end” sign on the road. I was disappointed to find out that despite being told by the Evolve team that the owner was in a “completely separate unit” they were definitely attached, the owner is right downstairs, you are renting the top half of this split level home. However, the owner was nice through texting communications and did not disturb us in person. There were multiple cars in the driveway which was daunting at first sight, but it appears they were all his. While everything important was clean it was a bit bizarre to see random stuff in the drawers and cabinets that gave this unit the feel of not being completely mucked out before being put on the market, but by no means was this unmanageable, just strange. The most disappointing thing by far is we were given no heads up about the oven not working, and since we had planned out several meals in advance this totally threw us for a loop & unfortunately meant we wasted time and money on groceries for the week. We ended up having to eat a few meals out which was not our intention and bummed us out a lot.

  This location had incredible views. The hot tub was brilliant and we were thrilled to find it was set to 103 (most rentals I have stayed at leave it much lower so this was appreciated upon arrival and we hopped right in) The home was cute overall and was nice for a little getaway.

  The pros of this VRBO are it's beautiful and quiet location. Initially it was confusing about which house we were renting because of 3 cars in the driveway and outside lights on. A phone call to the owner quickly cleared up the fact that we were renting the top half of the house and the vehicles were his.It was a little depressing to find a Christmas tree still up in the living room, sticky wood kitchen cabinets full of old vitamins, spices... and a variety of unnecessary clutter that detracted from the ambience. Also we could not find the remote for the TV in the living room, nor any instructions on how to access the WIFI which was supposedly left inside the house. I didn't want to bother the owner for these things- they just need to be provided for future guests.My husband detected a RING camera in the living room that while being pointed to the outside might have been picking up our conversations.
