  Spent 30mins trying to get into the property only to find out that the lock box code had changed

  Filled with bugs/flys upon arrival…crawling all over ceiling

  No knife to cut vegetable/fruit etc. No frying pan or baking sheets.

  Second shelf above sink was so crooked/slanted that it caused two bowls to fall off of it in the middle of the night and shatter.

  First towel used post shower literally disintegrated and fell apart

  I’d pass on this unit until the owner puts some money into it to make it a viable rental.

  Not trying to be rude, just honest. The owner was very nice when I spoke with her about the wrong lock box combo, just want to provide accurate feedback to make the place better.

  Place is not clean. Smells like a toilet. Air conditioner didn't work and manager unwilling to fix

Unfortunately, multiple house rules were broken during this stay. While we want our guests to enjoy their stay here, we also expect them to respect our house rules and treat the property as their own. The A/C was inspected after your departure and is fully functional. We do apologize that you were uncomfortable. However, we wish you had reached out during your stay about operating the A/C. We would've been happy to help you troubleshoot so that you could enjoy the home. We want our guests to arrive at a vacation home that is 100% ready for their stay, so we take the cleanliness of our property seriously. We use a cleaning crew to have the home professionally cleaned before each guest's arrival. As you can see by our many great reviews, we are accustomed to providing five-star experiences, and we look forward to this property hosting many happy travelers!”

• Cozy near everything

  This is a cozy one bedroom unit right off the Main Street in Clearlake. If you want very simple then this is the place. Price is very reasonable and it’s comfortable. My only issue was how the cleaning crew missed a few things that were obvious. Nothing major but I have been around janitorial businesses for years so I may be a little biased.
