Chula Vista has it's good areas and it's bad areas. This is located in the better area, but you can walk a quarter mile down the street and quickly see the change. The property was nice, but remember there is a large homeless population, so we did have a homeless "neighbor" when we would look out of our back door. That kind of made my wife uncomfortable, but there was never an issue. A few things about the place; 1. There's very little kitchenware (a few plastic cups, no corkscrew/bottle openers or glasses, not many wooden spoons or other cookware, etc.) 2. It's a cheap bed that has a semi-broken frame, so you'll sink and roll a little while sleeping. 3. It's hard to regulate the temperature throughout the house. 4. The blinds are cheap and there aren't curtains, so you'll be woken by the early morning sun. 5. The McDonald's right behind the property makes the place smell like french fries if you open the back door lol.Other than this, it was an awesome and enjoyable place which I would stay at again. The owner lives a few houses away and he, along with the other neighbors, are very nice!!

Although the surrounding neighborhood isn't that great the location is prime for Chula Vista. It is literally across the street from the mall. There are also many great places to eat including third Street which is where we spent most of our time after work. Older town feel people are very friendly as well as the landlord of the property very accommodating. As for the property itself we felt like we were at home and that's what matters. Everything you need is they're in good condition and very clean. If I had to be in this area again I will stay here for sure.
