Great base camp!
5/5 We wanted this general location as it provided fairly easy access to Lake Almanor, Lassen, and everything in between. Didn’t disappoint, it was great. Even with 10 humans and a large doggo, never felt cramped, there was room around the giant dining table for everyone to have meals together, kitchen was pretty well stocked with the items you need to make food 2-3 times a day for that crew.

Beautiful Setting
5/5 Had a great time at the property. Plenty of room. Great recreation opportunities - Golfing and hiking. Chester is a fun little town. Not all the crowds you get in many other areas

A very nice property
4/5 The house design was great. We had the misfortune of being there during a heat wave so the lack of AC was keenly felt. A few fans throughout the house would have helped a lot. There was an issue with towels and the fridge struggled to keep cool when we transferred stuff from coolers to fridge (they were cool, shouldn't have been an issue). Overall, great location, accommodating host. Would rent again!
