Nice but missing a lot
2/5 Very clean, comfortable beds, very secure, effective HVAC. Needs: bathroom towel racks, kitchen counters, living room furniture, bedroom blackout window blinds.

Good location spacious for a family of six
5/5 We enjoyed our stay at this place for a few days. Went into Santa Cruz a few days and played in the mountains one day. good location easy walk to Joe’s Bar and went for a nice run in Boulder Creek one morning.

Way less than impressed.
3/5 Three stars is pushing it.
Dirty towels, cheap sheets, useless horrible pillows. Uncomfortable for my family overall. No bath mat, slippery tile floor, shower pipes make an absolute racket so definitely plan on your baby waking up if you go to take a shower. The windows are original, so very old, and very thin - no insulation means that you hear the bar and its patrons literally all night long. I don’t think I slept more than 4 hours each night.
No AC in bedrooms, but mini split in living room. Front “bonus room” gets SO HOT during the day you could bake if you went for a nap.
Don’t get me started on the kitchen.
Wish we’d stayed elsewhere and wish I could get my money back from this vrbo that clearly was an undesirable property flip which they’re using as a cash cow to unsuspecting out of towners.
That doesn’t really work on locals. But maybe I could have researched better too.
The best part of our trip was the time we spent away from the house.
Wish they’d issue a partial refund. If they did the whole experience would sting less.
I’d have been happy to pay $150/night TOPS - but we were out well over $1000 for the few nights e we stayed.
Grateful for the family time, wish it’d have been in a better dwelling.
Boulder Creek Vrbo
3/5 Pleasant, convenient to town, organic grocery and laundromat. Unfortunately, there was a roofing team hammering on the roof next door at 7:30 AM on Saturday morning, the first morning we arrived, and unbelievably, they started hammering at 6:30 AM on Sunday morning. We didn't get much sleep.

Not as advertised, owner is a liar
1/5 King size beds are actually queens, no dishwasher or toaster, dirty sheets in twin bed, mc wire hanging from wall as you walk into house( a safety concern and not to code), front door lock is faulty and beeps until you manually lock it. Sleeps 7 ...uncomfortably. only enough seating for 3-4 in living room. Back deck is the landing to a staircase that is blocked off with buckets... septic was backed up, got pumped while we were there. overall not as expected. The only reason I give it 1 star is because I grew up in Boulder creek. Owner denied when we brought up these issues and evolve did nothing about it.
