Everything was as you would expect from a Big Bear cabin. The location was convenient for Snow Summit. Communication was prompt and helpful.Overall we enjoyed our short stay.Pros: location, fireplace, wifi, communication with mgr, and clean.Cons: heater was not working well the first night but they fixed it promptly. Only 1 TV. Overall a nice cozy place in a quiet area.

LOVED the location! It was very quiet and we were able to walk to the slopes. Owner was responsive. The electronic lock box was an issue, the owner shared that with me but we spent about 15 minutes trying to get the box to function properly. The bedrooms were comfortable and the cabin was cozy. We are four Moms over the age of 50. There is only one TV, not two as stated in the amenities, there is only one in the living room. The kitchen however was NOT as advertised. It is not modern and updated at all. The cabinets are old and beat up. The kitchen sink is old and scratched up, old brown Formica counters, the dishwasher is sitting on the floor, not attached. The kitchen fell short as some of the contents were old, beat up and rusty and some unusable. We couldn’t use the cutting board and the knives were terrible.Based on the condition and lack of updated amenities, the value did not match the price. Denise, Encinitas

Hi there, we're so glad you enjoyed the location, but we're sorry other aspects fell short of your expectations. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
- The electronic front door lock is a bit fickle, but it is brand new, and we messaged you detailed instructions on how to operate it. I was happy to take your call and help you access the property within five minutes of your arrival.
- We did remove the TV in the bunkbed room as it was no longer working. We apologize that we did not update you about this before your stay.
- We have made some upgrades to the kitchen and the rest of the cabin since we bought it, and we plan on doing more renovations to the kitchen this summer. However, everything is usable, and all the kitchen features you see on the listing are as advertised.
Thanks for letting us know about your stay!
Overall we enjoyed our stay. There were plenty of extra towels and blankets, beds were comfortable, and ambiance was warm. Happy there were some children's books. Nice space and backyard area. Plenty of parking space. Great location. The keypad was very fickle, though we were warned about that. The listing said there would be complimentary toiletries but there was only hand soap. There is a washer and dryer but we were not told to bring our own detergent. We could not find extra garbage bags. Water flow from sinks was on the low side. When sleeping in the loft, light may come in through the skylights from neighbors lights or sun in the early morning. We did enjoy our stay, and are glad we came.
