    This was an AWESOME place to stay. Besides the small town atmosphere and the sight of tall redwoods, this guest house was wonderful. It was clean, well decorated and had a comfy bed. The back yard and porch are very welcoming!We definitely will come back!!!

    The California Cottage was cozy and clean. It had everything we needed for a fabulous, stress-free getaway. Surrounded by big ancient redwoods, too, we felt tucked in and secluded. Magic!

    The place was supplied with everything we needed and was clean except for the caulking in the shower, which had a ton of mold. Kitchen was nicely appointed. Rental is located right off the main road so while there was no road noise while in the house, you need to be looking for the turn ahead of time. Not a problem really, more of a ‘good to know.’

    Beautiful house and property, surrounded with redwoods. Lovely front porch with couch and swing, and backyard sitting area, comfortable furniture everywhere, and everything we needed! Birds and fabulous star viewing, even a hummingbird feeder outside the kitchen window. Will definitely visit again when we are in the area. Love the Ben Lomond Market a half mile away, for handmade sandwiches and all groceries we needed. Lynn is a wonderful host as well, responded immediately to our questions and reaching out. Excellent in every way!
