Locals recommend half-day hikes such as Bloods Ridge and Inspiration Point, which are only a few minutes' drive away! Make the 4-mile trek to Lake Alpine for a leisurely day of kayaking or boating on a rented watercraft.

Winter Wonderland
5/5 Booking this cabin was easy. The cabin was perfect in size, location, very well maintained and well equipt with everything you need for a winter getaway! Kids and adults had fun playing in the snow and building a snowman with the snow right outside the cabin, or just enjoying the amenities, wifi, cable, boardgames, etc. Plus the general store is nearby for any extra needs of food/snacks/ and winter gear. Would highly recommend and can't wait to spend another winter vacation here as well as a summer stay!

Peace and tranquility
5/5 Easy to find. Well kept. Housekeeping did a nice job with presentation. Towels,soaps etc.Great cabin,very comfortable and homey.

Great Fishing Getaway
5/5 Quaint 70s-style cabin in very nice surroundings. Even though the property was a bit dated it was very clean and had all the accommodations needed for a pleasant stay. We used it for our annual “guys fishing trip” and it was great. The fishing at Lake Alpine was a blast and easy to get to from here.
