    We came up to visit our son at UC Merced and this place was perfect! So much better than a hotel! The neighborhood is safe and allowed us to cook our own meals and play games as a family. Check in was simple and property owner answered all my questions! We would for sure stay again!

    We were not able to stay. Upon arrival We noticed a scent in the Unit from Candles and Air Freshener that caused My Wife to have an Asthma attack.

    Manager's Response:

    Hi Paul, We wish you had reached out to us to let us know about what happened.

    We have LED candles in the bathroom and bedroom but they do not have a scent and there is no odor. The decorative candles in the bathroom have never been lit but we could have removed them for you.

    We have never had this complaint and previous guests have never mentioned this. We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.
