The newly renovated Hangtree House was re-envisioned as a modern mountain retreat, reminiscent of our childhood family cabin experiences but with modern, eclectic and Scandinavian design elements. You will feel the vintage vibe but enjoy many well-appointed common and social spaces, luxury amenities, and cozy interesting sleeping spaces. We love our furry friends and welcome them with open paws!

HangTreeHouse is close to Murphys for wine tasting and adult nights out, 20 minutes door to slopes of Bear Valley, 2 minutes walk to Snowshoe Lake for swimming, playing, and floating, a clubhouse with frisbee golf and summertime pool activity, and a perfect jumping off point for hiking and exploring the Arnold Rim Trail, Spicer, and Utica Lake, and the Stanislaus River.   • Idyllic Mountain Cabin

    This is the perfect mountain cabin escape! Even more beautiful in person than the pics, the spotless home has everything you could want, including comfy beds, a well-appointed kitchen and cozy couches for watching movies. Their spacious wraparound deck envelopes you in nature- great place for morning coffee or an early evening drink. The home that sits in a beautiful, serene neighborhood that has the most idyllic alpine lake. We visited in summer, but will be coming back to try it out in various seasons to enjoy all that ****** has to offer. ****** and ****** were very responsive and made it a super easy check -in and out experience. Couldn’t recommend it more highly!

    This is a very cozy and beautiful cabin with easy access to Hwy 4. It’s fully equipped with good quality items, from kitchen to bedding.

    The host was very nice and attentive.
