I read a review about old and industrial area and was a little apprehensive but when i lived in phoenix 20 years ago sun city was a retirement community, so industrial didn’t sound right. Upon arrival the industrial part that was in the review was a golf cart shop and a strip mall with shops. The area is older but it’s not older like run down old. It’s a well taken care of area thats not a modern city with traffic and noise everywhere. If you’re looking for a place to stay with a small family for spring training or travel ball games in the area, that’s also close to everything, this is the place. If you’re not use to quite or want a loud area do not stay here, It’s way to peaceful. The entire week we were there we seen one other tenant in another unit and maintenance workers.

My son and I stayed here for his travel baseball tournament. The neighborhood and complex is older but the unit was very clean and had a modern interior. Perfect home base for our week. Kitchen had everything we needed and the in unit laundry was excellent to clean his uniforms. Close to P83, Surprise, and Glendale. Easy commute to the different spring training baseball sites he played games at. Plenty of food and restaurant options within 10-15 minute drive. Grocery store within a mile drive and the Dairy Queen less than a mile away was nice for a treat at the end of the hot days. The covered parking spot was great to have in the June heat and Sun. Overall very happy with our stay there.

24 hours prior to our stay I requested the code for our stay. My request was answered only with “which place”? So I then gave the address and waited. The next morning again I requested the code and no answer. 10 minutes drive to our check in time of 4pm I called and again asked for the code. Samantha then said why didn’t you get ahold of me before this?? I explained that I had 3 times. She then told me that in the instructions it says to call her. Actually in the instructions it says I would be co texted prior to our stay for the address and code. I told her that I have never had to beg to get a code to get into a unit that I had already paid in full for.
Needless to say the unit was amazing. Management was not.
Hi Elizabeth, thank you for your feedback and we're really happy to hear how much you liked the condo! This is the first time we've heard of someone dissatisfied with the management service for the unit, we have had a discussion with them and implemented some changes to ensure this doesn't happen again. We are always looking for ways to improve the guest experience and your feedback is an important part of that process. We hope to host you again in the future!
As we drove up to this unit, I was a little apprehensive as the area is a bit old and industrial. Once inside I found it to be updated and modern. It was sparkling clean and as pictured in the listing. The neighborhood is mostly quiet and it’s nice to have a dedicated parking spot that is covered. (The red 5-gallon buckets are very helpful to locate the correct spot) I also appreciated the usb ports in the headboard of the bed in the 1st bedroom.
It seems that this is a fairly new listing as not everything is quite finished. There is no rod or shelf in the 2nd bedroom closet and only one nightstand in that room. There was no bathmat for the 2nd bathroom. Once everything is finished, this will be a great unit.
Samantha was very responsive and friendly when I texted her.
The stay was nice.
