4/5 Spacious home that worked well for our group, and the host was responsive to texts. The house is older and could use some repairs. The kitchen had plenty of plates/bowls/cups and lots of cabinet space, but could use more silverware. No toaster, but there is a toaster oven. We had to request paper towels and they were brought over quickly. A couple logistics: the garage is advertised as fitting 2 cars, but it realistically fits only 1 because it is being used for storage.Overall we were happy with our stay, it is a nice neighborhood & was quiet, the house was clean and comfortable, but we rated 4 stars due to security concerns. I booked on 12/05/2025 and received check-in instructions that same day—even though our check-in wasn't until 01/31/2026. The email included the codes for the drive-in gate, walk-in gates, and the front door. The drive-in gate code and the door code were exactly the same and not guest-specific. Getting gate door codes over a month in advance, and having them match, made us uncomfortable and suggested codes may not be changed regularly.One bedroom has a high window/skylight that brings in natural light, but it also lets in a lot of streetlight at night, so the room stays very bright. That bedroom is also right next to a walk-in gate. Also, while this is likely a neighborhood/HOA issue and not the host's fault, the walk-in gate next to the unit had the handle removed and no working lock, which undermines the “gated community” expectation.
