Once again we had a great time at Sharyl's ranch house. This time we found a couple dozen lava balls. Some of them were near the petroglyphs. It is so quiet and peaceful there. The only sounds you hear are from animals.
Thank you for the 5 star review! We are so happy that you enjoy the relaxing ranch cabin and getting away from the city to really unwind like we do. We love the petroglyphs too and also love playing indian marbles with the volcanic balls from the ancient volcanic explosions! You are wonderful guests! Hope to have you again soon!
If you want to get away from it all, this is the place to do it. We had a great time at the ranch cabin. Great views. The house was comfortable and everything worked properly. Sharyl is a super host that knows a lot about the area. We will definitely go there again.
The location was perfect for a getaway from the city and connecting to nature. Close to stores in town but tucked away. Loved the quiet and serenity of the property, home was cozy with all amenities and clean linens. It was great stargazing at night and exploring the trails by the river during the early mornings. Looking forward to returning again!!

Dena, thank you so much for the 5 star review. We are so happy when our guests enjoy our special get away from the city, the quiet and connecting with nature, like we do. When you told me that you liked to star gaze, I knew the unobstructed view of the Milky way from 7,000 ft with no city lights would delight you. Nice to hear that you want to come back. You are definitely welcome as you were 5 star guests!
May God continue to bless you!
This is a real ranch house at the end of a 3 mile dirt road. It has sweeping vistas and the Little Colorado River runs across the property. You have amazing views from the windows including old volcano cones and the barn and horses in the valley below. If you like adventure and the outdoors, this is a great place.

From the owner: "Thank you for taking the time to write such a nice review. So happy that you enjoyed your stay! Hopefully, we will see you again soon."
Beds were uncomfortable, had to light the hit water heater after taking a cold shower, ran out of water!!! The saving grace…views and wildlife.
