Cute house inside. And nice landscaping and seating areas outside. Was hard to find since it is "co-located" with 2 other houses. One of the houses that is next door is on property that is not cared for with a bunch of junk cars and trailers. Also very surprised to discover that the house is almost right on the road. So with bedroom window open, a lot of road noise. Had to sleep with ear plugs.
Listing mentioned that the key was in the lock box. No lock box to be found. Just an electronic keypad.
I am very sensitive to synthetic fragrances and while the house did not suffer from this, the bedding and bed sheets sure did -which made sleeping in the otherwise comfortable bed uncomfortable for me.
There is a very noticeable rattle in the bedroom when the heating system is operating. Enough to disturb a light sleeper's sleep.
The house had a lot of positive aspects except for those things I mentioned. And I would also say that the requirements listed for checkout were unusual - as in clean all the dishes and put them away. Make sure the garbage is taken out. Strip the bed and put the sheets and pillow cases in the hamper - which I could never find.
Finally, there is no clothes washer or dryer. That was unfortunate. But the kitchen is well stocked. They have some snacks and drinks which a lot of places don't. And despite the noise factors I mentioned, the inside is comfortable and well maintained.

Hi Harry, this homeowner works hard to provide an ideal stay for all guests, and they would like to clarify the following:
- We provide clear directions to all guests before check-in, which are especially helpful when arriving after dark. Access instructions are included in the pre-stay information, and a key isn't needed. We’re currently considering updating the wording we share with guests to make this even clearer.
- Despite our best efforts to create a great environment for guests, certain external factors, such as neighbors, can be beyond our control.
- Our location spans an acre, ensuring privacy as we’re not visible from the roadway and don’t overlook neighboring properties. The unit is positioned 100 feet off the street, offering a peaceful atmosphere even in the face of residential traffic. Many guests have expressed their appreciation for the peaceful environment, both day and night.
- We make an effort to limit scented products - our linens are washed in hot water and double-rinsed. It's important to note that we don’t market our unit as completely scent-free, and this information was only mentioned to us 24 hours before check-in. In response to your concerns about scents, we suggested using the fan to circulate the air or opening windows.
- Our heating/cooling system is relatively new, less than 5 years old, and was recently serviced. The filter was changed just 3 weeks before your arrival. We haven’t observed any rattling sounds, and it hasn't been reported by our guests either.
- As is standard for vacation rentals, guests are asked to complete a few small tasks, like stripping beds and removing their trash, as part of checkout. The laundry basket is conveniently located in the bedroom closet.
- Our listing doesn’t advertise a washer and dryer since we don’t offer them. We encourage guests to thoroughly review the listing before booking, to ensure they find the perfect vacation home for their needs.
We strive to provide every guest with a comfortable, safe environment to get away to and relax.
Nice home. Very clean. Quiet. Had a question after checking in, and host was quick to respond. Definitely recommend.

Everything was as advertised. The internet connection was extremely slow making it very difficult to do any work requiring Wi-Fi.

Close to town and comfortable. I would give it a 5-star had it not been for the very slow internet connection.
From the owner: "For some reason, internet is affected when weather is unstable. It affects anyone in this area at different times, and affects tv, internet, and communications. The week this guest was here was a classic monsoon week, with storms several times a week, if not daily. Locals expect a bit of disruption due to weather, be it monsoons, heat, or snow."
