We loved the stay here. We went hiking and just enjoyed the amazing view. There is a frisbee golf course and horse shoes which we loved. My only complaint is the gas smell in the home, which we were assured was safe and in the process of being fixed.

First off the view from the decks are amazing! Nothing comes close to the views you get from the decks. Plus waking up in the master room gives you a view like you have never had before! One thing that was not mentioned that we would need little necessities such as coffee creamer and basic condiments. There is only one down fall of the property is the drive up. Which in return the views makes up for it! The property is completely off grid! Which is awesome! It is solar powered and limited water. Only complaint I have is the sliding door in the master room was hard to get opened! Other than that it was great! Would stay again if ever in the area!

The Ravens Nest at Spruce Mountain was an amazing rental. The pictures posted Don't do it any justice. It's pretty amazing once you actually get to the property and view it for yourself. The views are breath taking and its really enjoyableto sit out on one of the decks for meals. We had a family of 5 and two dogs and were comfortable inside of the home. The road to get up to the rental can be rough its only about 3 miles from the highway but takes about 20 min to get to the top because of the terrain.. I recommend to future renters to make sure you have everything you need because if you forget something it's a trek on a dirt road to get to the store and its a road you don't want to drive down past sunset unless you have experience driving on mountain roads in the dark. My family didn't have to drive anywhere past sunset but just a tip. I would recommend this rental its a great away from the city.
