  • Never again

    1/5

The owner never returned our numerous calls. There was an issue with mice and mice feces throughout the cabin. The barbecue grill didn't work and was not clean from previous renters. There was a note left by the owners that implied the oven didn't work but was unclear. We called the owner several times and never got a return call. Would never recommend this place. This was a womens trip and we all made the best of it and thankfully we brought food to snack on that didn't require cooking.

    3/5

Beautiful views from the property. Quite a hike into town though as you have to go slow on mountain roads. Appreciated all the extra towels and bedding.Cleanliness of property was about a 5/10. Table and chairs were sticky. Visible dirt on the refrigerator handle. The grill was filthy and unusable bc it was covered in wire brush bristles. Used ant traps in the silverware drawer. Rips along the screen doors cause a moth problem in the house as well. Expected more especially during a pandemic. Ants were also a huge issue. Not only in the kitchen but I actually killed ten in the bed downstairs.

    Manager's Response:

Jessica, We want our guests to arrive at a vacation home that is 100% ready for their stay, so we take the cleanliness of our properties seriously!
We have passed your feedback along to the homeowner, who would like to share the following:
-They have since addressed cleanliness expectations with the cleaning service, and we are confident these issues won't occur for future guests.
-They have also confirmed that they don't put any ant traps in any of the drawers, nor are there any rips in the screen doors.
Thanks for taking the time to leave us a review!

  • Beautiful place with amazing views!

    5/5

This rental did not disappoint my family of five plus our sweet dog. Thelocation was off the beaten path with beautiful views of the mountains, sunrise, and ponderosa pines. The home was clean and comfortable. We wereimpressed how off the grid this cabin was and enjoyed teaching ourdaughters about conservation and solar energy.

  • a gem in the forest

    5/5

This is a beautiful place to stay in the Prescott National Forest. The house is well designed to allow enjoyment of the surrounding nature (there are two levels of balconies and ample windows). The property is fairly secluded, so good for folks who want privacy. There are also great hiking options located within walking distance.
