Just what we were looking for to rest, relax & reset following a busy holiday. (We did not get lucky with any snow the week after Christmas) The communication from the owner was amazing and she happily answered all of our questions a few days before check-in and was always just a phone call away.
The cabin was near perfect and is well depicted in the photos and description. It was amazingly well equipped with tons of extra linens, blankets, super-stocked kitchen/bathrooms, laundry area and had lots of games (which we did use!) A little rustic, nicely tidy and with great charm-we quickly felt "at home".
Watching the elk and deer come down the hill every evening just a few feet from the property edge was such a joy. The towns of Pine & Strawberry were very cute but do Google & plan accordingly for food "out". Many places are only open a few days a week and most do not keep very "late" hours but if you just take the time to do a little research prior, you can manage to find something to work each day of your stay.
A small note about the parking space...the little carport is tight and the curve of the parking area (driveway) off of the road might be a little tricky if you have a larger SUV or lifted long-bed truck (like us), but it is "workable".
All-in-all we really enjoyed this rental and would absolutely book again without hesitation! Thanks to the owner & to Evolve!
We loved the cabin! Plenty of room dog friendly, had everything we needed! Def going back !
Love this place. Super dog friendly which is nice when you are out in the woods. Had everything you can think of for cooking needs. Would 100 stay there again.

We stayed the weekend, my husband, myself and our Blue Heeler. The cabin is perfectly located to explore the gorgeous surrounding area. We took 4 hikes, all close by. The cabin is near the Pie Bar restaurant that has yummy empanadas. There was always a line because the food is really good! I would highly recommend and hope we can visit again soon.
