Solo travelers haven
5/5 Lovely place for a solo traveler or perhaps a couple. The deck is the perfect place to spend mornings while enjoying a cup of your favorite brew or in the evenings as the sun sets and stars fill the sky. The old cottonwood tree makes you feel like you are in a treehouse. The rental had everything I needed and then some. Just bring food and your clothes. The access to the river is so easy as well and the neighborhood is great for walking. I highly recommend.

Beautiful get-a-way
4/5 Our favorite feature of this property is the wooded area and creek just behind the house. We spent a lot of time on the deck relaxing to the sound of the babbling creek. (E Verde River) The location is a bit secluded, and that has its pros and cons. Peaceful, but you need to plan your trips/ grocery runs. After long days of hiking we didn't feel like driving into Payson to eat, so we made use of the kitchenette. The kitchenette provided all that we needed for the few simple meals that we prepared. Fortunately, there was a hot plate for frying eggs, as there is no stove. Otherwise, the kitchenette was well equipped.A luxury item is the Jacuzzi tub which was a fabulous soak after hours of hiking, and the bed was very comfortable as well. The size of the studio was very nice, perfect for the two of us. It was "clean enough", however could benefit from some attention to detail (mainly the floors). Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the Riverside Treehouse and we would return!

Quaint Accommodations
5/5 Your staying in the upstairs apartment of a home. Access to the home is by exterior stairway. Home is set back in a small subdivision about 15 minutes off the main roads of Payson. Rear deck overlooks the river with lots of wildlife activity. No stove so be prepared on meal choices and cooking but there is a grill (uncovered deck). All in all comfy stay and recommended for a couple who wants to get away for a weekend.

Beautiful location
5/5 Very nice secluded location with your own private river , easy to find and had plenty of parking for my truck and trailer towing my can am, definitely recommend
