4/5 We had a great stay. Weather was perfect and the views were awesome. Would have been nice to have some shade on the back deck but everything else was great. Loved the privacy and the quiet. Would recommend to others.

Wonderful hidden gem!!
5/5 I loved everything about this place! To be honest the first time I drove out there it was a bit scary with the gravel roads and steep inclines, but after that first time I found myself loving the drive out there and the views and the wildlife and the pure seclusion of everything.
The cabin was prestocked with tons of snacks and snores ingredients and firewood. The back patio was really nice but we spend every night around the fire pit, as the views of the Milky Way were better from that angle.
One night I heard a wild cat outside the door!
It was truly a magical experience that fully gave me the feel of living in Arizona. The central location was also a must since it allowed a 3.5 hr drive to Grand Canyon and a 4hr drive to Saguaro National Forest. It is also extremely close to the Tonto Natural Bridge which was so beautiful it made me cry. And please do not skip out on Tuzigoot if you go! It is breathtaking and only an hour drive away from this wonderful cabin on the rim!
So yes, rent a AWD with some clearance and rent this cabin. You won’t regret it!

5/5 Beautiful location. Sitting out on the deck is such a peaceful experience listening to crickets, birds, and the soft breeze blowing through the trees. If you arrive stressed, you won’t be for long.
