Booking and checking in was really easy. There’s no signal upon arrival so I recommend writing directions down ahead of time until you’re able to log into the Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi worked well. The backyard is amazing with natural steps down the the river/creek. The water level was pretty low but we still managed to catch two trout while we were there. The cabin is comfy and laid out nicely. My only two complaints are that the beds were not too comfortable (springy) and the shower head is too low. (I am 5’10” and it was level with my chin. )The hot water works REALLY well. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and the full size fridge was much appreciated.

Beautiful quiet property with wild life visitors almost daily ( hummingbirds and elk ). The cabin is small but well equipped with clean linens and kitchen utensils. We throughly enjoyed the patio, gas grill and comfortable outdoor furniture. Great place to read or listen to the little stream and watch the evening sky. There is a small playground in the neighborhood. Number of areas to explore nearby some in the immediate area and others like Tonto Natural Bridge are only a short drive. The town of Payson is only 8 miles away where we found historical sites, farmers market, fun antique shopping, good restaurants and churches. The owner quickly responded to any questions. We will definitely return to the River Cabin in the not to distant future.

It being a small cabin is fine, but the furniture desperately needs to be updated. It's dirty and extremely uncomfortable. The only comfortable place to sit is on one of the beds. As much as you're charging, you should at least have decent furniture.

We take this seriously and will thoroughly assess the furniture's cleanliness and comfort.
