We had higher expectations given the price we paid for this rental, but unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. The property was in poor condition—everything was dirty, old, and mismatched, from the towels to the bedding, none of which were usable. The pool area was gross, with black mold visible in the bathrooms and old, unsanitary toilet brushes left behind. There were no amenities to speak of, and even the dishes provided were inadequate and mismatched.
On our first day, we reached out to management, hoping for some assistance or resolution, but we never received a response. We have stayed in rentals all over the world, and we’ve never had such a disappointing experience with zero help from the property management team. This rental is run-down and uncomfortable, and I would advise anyone considering it to look elsewhere. We definitely did not get what we paid for, and I would not recommend this property to anyone.

- The pool area is a popular feature with past guests, and it’s maintained regularly. However, we’ll double-check for any potential maintenance needs to ensure it remains a comfortable and enjoyable space.
- We aim to equip the kitchen with everything necessary for a comfortable stay, and we’ll be reviewing the dishware to ensure it’s cohesive and in good condition.

Our stay lasted less than 10 minutes
My wife and I walked in,the place had an odd smell . It wasn’t very clean,the stove top was a dead giveaway,but items on the kitchen counter hade food crud on it.
The place overall just was old and worn out.
We decided we could not stay here and left.
Evolve has not at this point given us a refund!
P.S. Don’t believe the five star reviews. I would bet they are fake!
Hi Wayne, we take guest feedback seriously. The homeowners were surprised to read your review and would like to clarify the following:
- Neither we nor the cleaning team detected unusual odors before or after your stay. There is a plug-in emitting a cinnamon apple scent upon entering.
- We use a professional cleaning company that does a thorough job of preparing the home for guests. The cleaners take pride in making sure that the property is cleaned upon your arrival.
- Although this is an older home, it has been remodeled with fresh paint, new carpet, new tiles (in the basement), and new furniture. The stove top has experienced typical wear from use but is fully functional.
- We are accustomed to providing four/five-star experiences, based on previous, honest reviews. We look forward to this property hosting many more happy travelers in the future.
We always work with guests and homeowners when issues arise and do apologize that we were unable to come to the resolution you were hoping for based on the documentation provided. Thanks for taking the time to leave your review.
We had a great time at the home. The home is clean, and most important to us— It was a very quiet neighborhood.
