Let’s just say if they decided to sell, we’d buy it! Perfect get away from the heat. There are two mobile AC units but at the end of July we didn’t need them. We took the advice of leaving the windows open at night and the cabin cooled down so well that with the fans it was pleasant during the day. The internet connection was good, but our cell service didn’t work (Total by Verizon). Not a problem, spotty cell service was mentioned in the description so we were prepared. Beds were all comfortable. We loved that this cabin had so many twin beds, as we often find it difficult to find places that fit our bed needs.Lots of forested land with beautiful pine trees that provide plenty of shade. The land on the sides and back of the cabin are steep so if you have kids who like adventuring be prepared for that. The views are amazing, and the stars are bright. The seven mile unpaved road is long and twisty, so take some Dramamine if you get motion sick. The unpaved road wasn’t bad, although the suspension got a good work out in a few spots. There are several miles of single lane with turn outs, but there is very little traffic. This really is a “get away from it” cabin. Most supplies are provided but bring your own body wash/shampoo. Water usage is limited to 100 gallons per person per day. The only real con that we found was that although it sleeps 8, the TV loft area only has a two seater sofa and a recliner, and there isn't crockery or silverware for 8. We had 5 people.

We spent a long weekend with our family at the cabin and had an amazing time. Few hour drive from Phoenix and totally worth it!

We loved our time at the cabin! We have previously gone to cabins where they look isolated and they are not. This one is ISOLATED and we LOVED it. However there were issues with the fridge not working and water working (we were able to fix this). They do need more chairs or you should bring some. There were two outside but the rest of the folding chairs they had were broken. The bed upstairs is really small. I ended up sleeping somewhere else and my partner in the bed upstairs. They do have a bedroom downstairs which was needed for us as my dad just had knee surgery. Definitely going back!
